The UK delivery branch of pizza chain Pizza Hut has selected marketing and creative agency Kairos Media as its agency of record.
The collaboration will see the agency work with the chain to develop and execute a strategy where gaming and esports are at the forefront.
This isn’t the first time Kairos Media has collaborated with Pizza Hut. The agency partnered with the chain for ‘FIFA Fridays’, an influencer-led tournament that saw players compete for a share of $2,500 (∼£1801) in prize money.
Catriona Woodward, Head of Digital Marketing at Pizza Hut, commented on the collaboration in a release: “We are super excited to be working with Kairos, their passion and knowledge for gaming perfectly complement our love and expertise for Pizza.
“Following a successful test tournament run by Kairos we are looking forward to having an always-on strategic approach to bring the perfect partners of gaming and pizza together, and hopefully having lots of fun along the way.”

Drew Townley, Managing Director at Kairos Media, also spoke on the partnership: “Working with the biggest brands in the world to bring them into gaming and esports is what Kairos does. This is no different but with easily one of the most recognisable brands worldwide – that only furthers our position as the go-to agency for any brand looking at making a serious impact.
“The success of this project will act as a benchmark globally for gaming and esports activity.”
Esports Insider says: Considering Kairos Media’s vast experience with executing a range of esports and gaming-related activations with a variety of non-endemic brands, it’s no surprise to see the agency selected to deliver for Pizza Hut once again.
